Classes will follow the syllabus of English Bridge Union book on Beginning Bridge. All students will be expected to purchase a copy. During the term we will cover opening 1NT and responses, opening 1 of a suit and responses, and various play techniques.

Bridge Tuition is organised by the Pall Mall Bridge Circle Committee, and centres around courses
for bridge beginners and intermediates, backed up by supervised practice sessions.

Bridge Starter Course
Sept 26-27th, 2015 - 10:30am to 5:30pm
This two-day course is run by our experienced bridge teachers and covers all aspects of Mini-Bridge – a cut-down, fun version of bridge recommended by the English Bridge Union as the best
way to start learning bridge. The course is hands-on with lots of practice incorporated. You will learn how to deal, play and score bridge, plus some card play techniques and tactics. At the end of
the course you will be able to teach Mini-bridge to your friends and family, and play any time you get four willing people together. You will also be ready to join our Beginners Bridge lessons which
run on Wednesday evenings, to further develop your game.
Fees: Members: £120, Guests: £130, including tuition, full documentation and refreshments

Supervised Practice Sessions
Would you like to improve your knowledge of Bridge? The RAC Bridge Club offers supervised classes for Beginners and Intermediates at Pall Mall A new topic is discussed at each class with
an experienced instructor, followed by supervised play. Beginner classes are held eachWednesday from 7-9pm and Intermediate classes are each Thursday from 7-9pm. Places on
sessions must be pre-booked in order to make up full tables, and to ensure than players get a full evening’s coaching. For information and registration, please contact the RAC Events team.
Fees per session: Members: £10, Guests £15
