  Jack Flynn

We are sorry to report the death of Jack Flynn.  Jack died peacefully on Thursday, August 28th, 2008 at 3:30. in Ripley Hospital.  His daughter, Sarah, was present.  Jack was 71 and, as most will know, had been ill for quite a while, but continued to play bridge and still get good scores.

Jack was a Life member and Chief Tournament Director of Ripley Bridge Club.  He will be much missed.

We offer our condolences to Jack's family.

  RIPLEY REVELS

The Ripley Revels are weekends away for bridge, sightseeing and enjoyment, not necessarily in that order.  These were originally organised by Jack Flynn.  Since his recent passing away, I believe Linda Hubbold, with help from Richard Horsley is organising them.  While primarily for members of Ripley Bridge Club, they are open to others.

Click on this item for examples of past revels.  The picture below was taken at Widnes in 2006.
