Beginners Lessons at Richmond

Beginners need to cover 3  terms of lessons - 30 lessons split into 3 terms in total. The course consists of ten two-hour lessons, taking place once a week. If you are interested in learning from scratch please Email the club and we will advise when we have enough people to start a new course.

Term 1 -3 are for those with no previous knowledge of bridge. Bidding and card play are the two main elements of bridge and the course cover the basics of both, providing a firm foundation on which to build bridge expertise.

A new course begins in January 28th on Monday's at 7.30pm , if numbers warrant we also hope to start a daytime course on Thursdays at 11.00am. I am pleased to say we start a new daytime course on Thursday 6th March. Please download booking form and post to club.

All lessons are based on Bridge For All, the recommended teaching programme produced by the English Bridge Union, the national governing body for the game of bridge in this country. The cost of each course is £100.00 plus £20.00 for the text book which covers three terms .

Term 3 continues for our current students  and restarts on Tuesday 8th January at 7.30pm
