WELCOME TO RICHMOND BRIDGE CLUB
WELCOME TO RICHMOND BRIDGE CLUB

Richmond Bridge Club is housed in the old Bowling Club Pavilion in Cambridge Park, nestling between Richmond and Twickenham in South-West London. The Clubhouse and the Club are now dedicated solely to Bridge.

We offer a full range of duplicate bridge playing facilities from Monday through Friday including lessons for all standards. Afternoon sessions start promptly at 1.30pm (parking vouchers are obtainable from the Director except in July & August); in the evenings, play commences at 7.30pm. Special Events are often held at week-ends at different times. The Club is affiliated to the Surrey County Bridge Association and the English Bridge Union.

Computer dealt hands (with printed hand copies available after play) and the "Bridgemate" wireless scoring system (giving you instant results as you play) are used for all sessions.

The Clubhouse, extensively refurbished in 2002, is now probably one of the finest in Surrey as we can accommodate 36 tables. The lovely picture above was painted by John Rogers who has been a club member for many years.

KONSTANZ EXCHANGE
Konstanz is the host town in 2010 for the five-yearly twinning celebrations betweeen Richmond, Fontainebleau and Konstanz. Konstanz Bridge Club have invited us to send over a small group to take part in the celebrations (May 21 to May 24 2010) and to play at their club (members will stay with Konstanz members). We have three members already taking part (these are people who have been involved in hosting previously) and we have vacancies for up to three more. This would be either one single and a married couple or three singles. Preference would be given to anyone fluent in German. One person did approach our Chairman about the possibility of going some time ago but Simon has forgotten who it was. If that person would like to contact either Marietta or Simon then he/she would be first choice.
