AUTUMN PAIRS LEAGUE
AUTUMN PAIRS LEAGUE

In September  we would like to continue with the Pairs League. The three dates are  September 21 October 19 and November 16

The format is the same with fourdifferent divisions, like in football for example. Essentially you are in a division most suited to your playing ability. Each season will run once a month for three months with prizes for winners. Promotions & relegation will take  place at the end of each season. Dependent on numbers, there should be ideally 10 pairs in each division. Each pair will play 8 boards against other pairs in their division only,  at the end of three months they will have played one match against each of the other pairs in their division. Based on their performance at the end of the season, two pairs will be promoted  and two pairs will be relegated. Each division will be scored separately. The entry fee for the season will be £25 per player (£30 for non-members). You can have a team of three/four  at no extra cost but if it includes a non member your entry fee must be at the higher rate e.g. £55.00 This includes table money for all three games - there will be nothing more to pay. If you would like to join us please Email marietta@richmondbridgeclub.com  Prize Money will be decided when we have an idea of entries.

WELCOME TO RICHMOND BRIDGE CLUB
WELCOME TO RICHMOND BRIDGE CLUB

Richmond Bridge Club is housed in the old Bowling Club Pavilion in Cambridge Park, nestling between Richmond and Twickenham in South-West London. The Clubhouse and the Club are now dedicated solely to Bridge.

We offer a full range of duplicate bridge playing facilities from Monday to Friday, some Saturday Evenings and Sunday afternoons. Th club also offers  lessons for players of all standards. Afternoon sessions start promptly at 1.45pm (start-time on Sundays is 2.30pm); in the evenings, play begins at 7.30pm. Special events are often held at weekends. The Club is affiliated to the Surrey County Bridge Association and the English Bridge Union.

Computer-dealt hands (with printed hand copies available after play) and the "Bridgemate" wireless scoring system (giving you instant results as you play) are used for all sessions.

The Clubhouse, extensively refurbished in 2002, is now probably one of the finest in Surrey and we can accommodate 34-35 tables.
