Welcome to Richmond Bridge Club
WELCOME TO RICHMOND BRIDGE CLUB
WELCOME TO RICHMOND BRIDGE CLUB

Welcome to Richmond Bridge Club the most popular and successful EBU affiliated club in the country. Richmond Bridge club has been the No.1 club in the country for 8 consecutive years and we hope we are creating some sort of record. The club is also now a registered charity number  1175613 . The club is housed in the old Bowling Club Pavilion in Cambridge Park, nestling between Richmond and Twickenham in South-West London. The Clubhouse and the Club are now dedicated solely to Bridge.

We offer a full range of duplicate bridge playing facilities from Monday to Friday, some Saturday Evenings and Sunday afternoons. The club also offers lessons for players of all standards to learn bridge as a beginner or to improve their bridge with various Refresher and Intermediate courses. Afternoon sessions start promptly at 1.45pm (start-time on Sundays is 2.30pm) and  in the evenings, play begins at 7.30pm. Special events are often held at weekends. The Club is affiliated to the Surrey County Bridge Association and the English Bridge Union.

Computer-dealt hands (with printed hand copies available after play) and the "Bridgemate" wireless scoring system (giving you instant results as you play) are used for all sessions.

The Clubhouse, extensively refurbished in 2002, is now probably one of the finest in Surrey and we can accommodate 34-35 tables.

MINI SWISS PAIRS

We have had great support for our first couple of Swiss Pairs and they will now continue on a regular basis  on a Wednesday &  Friday evening and Thursday Afternoon. The cost has now been fixed at a very competitive rate of  £8.00 Members, £11.00 Visitors for the evening sessions. Thursday afternoon will remain £6.00 members, £9.00 Visitors. Please watch out for the dates via the web as we have had to rearrange some to try and hold a similar event once a month in the daytime.  Please help us to deal and cater for the right number by clicking on the links below:

LATE ARRIVALS
LATE ARRIVALS

All players should be seated at least 10 minutes before the session starts. Arriving late without warning is rude, and should be avoided if at all possible. If you are delayed en-route to a session, please be sure to call and tell us so that we may reserve space for you in the movement (or inform your waiting partner), otherwise you risk a wasted journey.

EVENING PARKING
EVENING PARKING

Please note we are now allowed to park in the bowling club car park week days from 7.00pm. We are keen to be good neighbours and if you use the car park you will leave more spaces for local residents. If you cannot park in the car park please park on the bowling club side of the road. Do not park on the residential side of the  road or in Fairlawns (the small crescent on the left). We appreciate your help.
