WELCOME TO RICHMOND BRIDGE CLUB
WELCOME TO RICHMOND BRIDGE CLUB

Richmond Bridge Club is housed in the old Bowling Club Pavilion in Cambridge Park, nestling between Richmond and Twickenham in South-West London. The Clubhouse and the Club are now dedicated solely to Bridge.

We offer a full range of duplicate bridge playing facilities from Monday to Friday, some Saturday Evenings and Sunday afternoons. The club also offers lessons for players of all standards to learn bridge as a beginner or to improve their bridge with various Refresher and Intermediate courses. Afternoon sessions start promptly at 1.45pm (start-time on Sundays is 2.30pm); in the evenings, play begins at 7.30pm. Special events are often held at weekends. The Club is affiliated to the Surrey County Bridge Association and the English Bridge Union.

Computer-dealt hands (with printed hand copies available after play) and the "Bridgemate" wireless scoring system (giving you instant results as you play) are used for all sessions.

The Clubhouse, extensively refurbished in 2002, is now probably one of the finest in Surrey and we can accommodate 34-35 tables.

Good luck to them all in the next round.

NO 1 AGAIN (8 IN A ROW)
NO 1 AGAIN (8 IN A ROW)

I am  delighted to tell you that, that for the 8th year in succession  we  are again the best attended affiliated club in the country. (2011-2018). Please see EBU website for the list of clubs. It looks like we may be creating some sort of record so long may it continue. We know this would not be possible without the support of our incredibly loyal and wonderful members. We will continue to work as hard as possible to maintain the high level of service you so deserve.

FACEBOOK VIDEO

I thought you might enjoy seeing this video that we are planning to use on Facebook. Our thanks to Jane, Zita, Cathy, Stefan, Lee and a special thanks to Nadia who edited and produced the video. Please click on the little > to see the video although some browsers will play it when you open the page. Nadia is a very talented photographer, here is a link to her website  See Nadia's work.

PARKING
PARKING

We have a new sign to help you know where to park in the Bowling Club.  When you enter  the car park and  see this sign facing the entrance you know that you cannot park in that row. When not applicable we hope to turn it round so that the words are no longer showing as you come in but are facing the car park spaces themselves. Some of you have got confused by this. The sign ONLY APPLIES if you can see the words when you drive in to the car park.

LATE ARRIVALS
LATE ARRIVALS

All players should be seated at least 10 minutes before the session starts. Arriving late without warning is rude, and should be avoided if at all possible. If you are delayed en-route to a session, please be sure to call and tell us so that we may reserve space for you in the movement (or inform your waiting partner), otherwise you risk a wasted journey.

EVENING PARKING
EVENING PARKING

Please note we are now allowed to park in the bowling club car park week days from 7.00pm. We are keen to be good neighbours and if you use the car park you will leave more spaces for local residents. If you cannot park in the car park please park on the bowling club side of the road. Do not park on the residential side of the  road or in Fairlawns (the small crescent on the left). We appreciate your help.
