The EBU operates a National Grading Scheme which runs in tandem with the Master Points system. The NGS scheme now covers the last 2000 boards you have played resulting in a current assessment of your standard of play. The scheme is accessed from the EBU website under NGS & then clicking Nottinghamshire.

After the next Open Day the committee are going to try a slightly different format. Instead of it being every three months it is going to be held on the last Tuesday of the calendar month. The format will be the same but any club member is also invited if they do not have a partner that night. For this to work well we need a club member to volunteer to be the "spare" for the night. Preferably someone locally so they can easily go home if not required. For the October and November sessions Tessa Rolph has kindly volunteered to be the "spare", but a list will be put on the board for 2018.
A list is now on the notice board for members to volunteer to be the "spare player" for the night. If your regular is unavailable that night then the committee would be grateful if you would kindly volunteer.
