While you are learning new skills every time you play, you are exercising your thought process and increasing your brain power.  The bigger the challenge the greater the satisfaction when you succeed.  Bridge is one of the few games where you have the opportunity of playing against top players.  The fascination is that you still might get a top!  So don’t be afraid of having to play against someone who is better than you.  Get out there and improve your game.

Learning to play bridge is so much more than just counting to 13.
