2026 Charity Night

Our charity night took place on Monday, February 23rd. The chosen charity this year was the Sandymount Conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society who are helping the families and individuals in our local community who are experiencing severe burdens, with many living below the poverty line.

With a full hall, spot prizes during play, and Prize Giving and Grand Raffle in the bar afterwards a fun evening was had by everyone. All funds collected go to this very worthy cause.

The winner of the Grand Raffle was Maeve Flanagan, who won an original painting by local artist and club member, Bernie Price.

Second prize in the draw was taken by Bob Neilson and the third raffle prize went to Norma O'Dowd, with many more raffle prizes distributed to members.

The bridge competition was won by Carmel Dowdall and Bernie O'Sullivan (North/South) and Ciaran Scolard and Bob Neilson (East/West).

In second place were Mary Lynn and Pat Hickey (North/South) and Caitriona and Owen Hensey (East/West).

Ann Vaughan and Imelda Ryan (North/South) and Max and Marjorie McMeill (East/West) took third place.
