Back at Winchester House

After a 7-month gap we were able to move back to the refurbished Winchester House in April 2016. The "ballroom" where we play, which overlooks the River, is now cleaner, smarter and more to the point better lit!   We meet for bridge every Monday except Bank Holidays. Game time is 7.30pm.  All welcome, partners found for single players.

Bridge Improvers

We welcome all standards to our duplicate sessions. However if you would like to improve your skills in bidding and card play, we offer a Thursday morning session in Sheen.  The bridge is non-competitive, advice and tuition is available as needed, and each week there is a short formal lesson.  You don't need a pre-arranged partner.  Venue: Church Hall, Our Lady Queen of Peace, 222 Sheen Road, TW10 5AN.  Buses from Putney, Richmond, etc,  Parking available in the church car park,   9.30-12noon every Thursday morning.  No need to book but email or text appreciated (see contact details above) before your first visit.

New Chiswick Bridge Club

A Master Point duplicate is available on on the THIRD TUESDAY evening of each month at Chiswick Tennis Club in West London.  Start time is 7.15pm. All are welcome. The tennis club is on Burlington Lane, W4 3EU. This is near to Chiswick House Gardens.   Parking is available in surrounding streets, especially the non-residential part of nearby Staveley Road. There are trains to Chiswick BR Station (3 mins walk)  and the E3 bus runs every 5 minutes from  Chiswick town centre and Turnham Green tube station, or the 190 from Richmond. The playing room is a large very suitable airy room.   As always pre-dealt hands and hand records, electronic scoring, partners found for singles and free tea/coffee. Results promptly uploaded to www.bridgewebs.com/newchiswick.  The game is EBU affiliated and master points are awarded.

We are proud of this delightful venue and think it one of the best for duplicate bridge in London.
