Putney Bridge Club is a well established duplicate bridge club near the River Thames in South West London. Our venue is Winchester House, 10 Lower Richmond Road, Putney, London SW15 1JN.
We meet every Monday, (except Bank Holidays) at 7.30pm prompt and finish play by 10.40pm.
Table money is £8.00. New players and visitors are always welcome at no extra charge and we operate a host system so that single players are guaranteed a partner.
Scoring is instant using Bridgemate II electronic scorers. Hand records are available at the end. Fully detailed results are posted promptly on the results page - see “Latest Result” above right, or the “Results” link in the menu, left.

| Our Venue - Winchester House |
 Winchester House is a beautiful Queen Anne riverside building, currently used by a private members club, the Winchester House Club. The venue is also used for weddings and corporate hospitality events.
We play in the first floor ‘River Room’ with views over the Thames. A licensed bar is available.
We are proud of this delightful venue and think it one of the best for duplicate bridge in London.
Please note the Club have asked the bridge players to observe a minimum dress code of ‘smart casual’. No jeans, no trainers, no T-shirts in the bar please!

We are just a short distance from Putney Bridge on the Surrey side of the river. Click this link for a map to locate Winchester House or for full details go to the “Information” tab on this site.
Our nearest tube station is Putney Bridge (District Line, served by trains to/from Wimbledon). We are also close to Putney BR station. Numerous buses pass Putney Bridge - click here for full details. There is on-street parking available free after 6.30pm on Putney Embankment and after 7.00pm on Lower Richmond Road..

We welcome all standards to our duplicate sessions. However if you would like to improve your skills in bidding and card play, we offer a Thursday morning session in Sheen. The bridge is non-competitive, advice and tuition is available as needed, and each week there is a short formal lesson. You don't need a pre-arranged partner. Venue: Church Hall, Our Lady Queen of Peace, 222 Sheen Road, TW10 5AN. Buses from Putney, Richmond, etc, Parking available in the church car park, 9.30-12noon every Thursday morning. No need to book but email or text appreciated (see contact details above) before your first visit.

| Blue Point Weekend A Success |
Putney Bridge Club sister club Neww Chiswick BC hosted a club-standard weekend on July 2nd/3rd 2016, offering EBU 'blue' master points (the next level up from regular club events). The event was a great success, attract ing 30 pairs for the Swiss Pairs on the Saturday and nine teams-of-4 on the Sunday . European Women's champion Nicola Smith was in the winning pair on Saturday with Allison Green, and Janet de Botton's team-of-4 won on Sunday.
