Checking Your EBU Masterpoints

Did you know?
You can check your EBU masterpoints online?
Go to the EBU website https://www.ebu.co.uk/members/

The first time you use this site, enter your EBU number and click "forgot password" to have this emailed to you.

Masterpoints from events at Pinner Bridge Club are uploaded to the EBU at the end of each session, and processed by the EBU every week or so.

PINNER BRIDGE CLUB COMPETITIONS

A INDIVIDUAL COMPETITIONS

Betty Terris Rose Bowl

Awarded to the player with the most EBU master points issued by the club over the year. Where master points are issued by the EBU as well as the club, such as in simultaneous pairs events, only those issued by the club count towards this event.

Betty Terris Trophy

Awarded to the player who obtains the highest total score from six of the rubber bridge sessions played on ten random Fridays spread over the year. Players will be asked to submit their scorecards for the selected sessions.

Sybil Tutton Cup

Awarded to the player who obtains the most EBU master points issued by the club for the monthly special pairs event.

Jennings Cup

Awarded to the qualifying player who obtains the most EBU master points issued by the club for the Thursday sessions. Entry is restricted to players below the rank of County Master, past winners of the Cup, or those players who in the opinion of the committee, are above the standard allowed.

Chicago Trophy

Awarded to the player obtaining the highest aggregate score in a one session Chicago style bridge competition.

B PAIRS COMPETITIONS

Gerry Conn Trophy

Awarded to the winners of a one session special pairs event.

Julian Hunt Cup

Awarded to the winners of a two session pairs event held on one day. The scores of the two sessions being combined.

Lever Cup

Awarded to the winners of a two session mixed pairs event. The scores of two normal club sessions are combined. Only identical mixed pairs playing in each session being counted.

Casebourne Cup

Awarded to the highest placed married couple in the Lever Cup competition. If a married couple wins the Lever Cup, the Casebourne Cup is awarded to the next highest placed married couple.

Tutton Cup

A knock out pairs event for the club rubber bridge championship. Each round consists of 28 hands with standard rubber scoring. If a hand is passed out, the deal passes to the next player as normal, but the hand that was passed out does not count towards the 28 hands which are to be played.

Hall Trophy

Awarded to the winners of a one session pairs event with a entry restricted to players below the rank of District Master.

Ladies Pairs Cup, Gents Pairs Cup

Awarded to the leading Ladies pair and leading Gents pair, respectively, in a one session combined pairs event.

C TEAMS COMPETITIONS

Channer Cup

A knock out teams event. 28 boards to be played in each round. See Channer Cup rules over.

Committee Cup

A multiple pivot teams single session event where partnerships within each team have to change at the halfway stage.

Elton Cup

A multiple teams single session event where members enter as pairs. Half the field is seeded and each team is formed of a pair drawn from the seeded half and a pair drawn from the non-seeded half.
