1. To set up Dealing Machine

   Power up the laptop & enter the password.

   Connect the laptop to the Dealing Machine & switch on the Dealing Machine.

   On the desktop double click the “BOS” icon.

   Click “Create new” in the “Select Event” box.

   Enter event name (YYMMDD) in the “Create new event” box. Click “Create”.

   Click “Randomize” & set number of boards to be dealt eg. 33.

   Click “Save”. Click the red symbol “single duplication”.

2. To Deal the Boards

   Put last 3 sets of boards into hopper.

   Remove cards from Board 1 & insert boards into hopper.

   Insert Board 1 in the Dealing Machine & follow the instructions on the screen.

3. To Print Hands

   Select “Hand records” & change Date.

   Select the number of copies required. Click “Start”.

4. To send Hands to the Website.

   On the desktop double click the “Phoenix” icon.

   Click "Adminisration/Result Administration" in the menu, enter the password & click "Login"

    In "Select the Deal File" click "Choose file"

   Select File C:\BOS\Event\YYMMDD\Date.

   Click on the event – Shamrock YYMMDD#1. Click “Open”

   Click “Upload”.

   Return to the Home page of the Website & select “Calendar”.

   Check that a “Hand of cards” symbol is next to the event.
