28th May 2013: Recruitment Seminar: Stirling
Michael Ash will be leading a seminar to be held in the afternoon before the SBU AGM on Tuesday 28th May in Stirling. Attendees can stay for the AGM if they wish - refreshments will be provided and the event is free.
Bridge Classes 2013-14
Want to learn to play Bridge? 
Autumn classes start week beginning 7th October 2013.
Absolute Beginners i.e.1st year will be held on Monday afternoons 
with the first session on 7th October,  2.00 - 4.00pm, 
All other years will be as they were this year on Tuesday mornings with the first sessions on 8th October,  10.00 - 12.00noon

This will be an opportunity to share ideas about teaching bridge and, most importantly, getting students to make the transition to playing regularly in clubs. There will be copies of the latest version of the SBU teaching material - adapted for use with PowerPoint that makes teaching so much easier - and representatives of clubs that have been successful in recruiting learners to become members will be able to share ideas with those who would like help.
