This normal tournament is run in a friendly, relaxed way, with time allowed to discuss the hands and to ask questions.
Improvers are encouraged to seek experienced partners.
If you would like to do this please contact Liz Grant in advance using the form below so that such partners can be allocated.
It would be helpful if club players used Simple System Bidding but there is no edict to do this.
Alternative Systems and all conventions should be clearly explained in a relaxed and helpful manner.
Do come and enjoy a friendly game in a social atmosphere.
A partner will be available if you come on your own.
Table money is £3.00 per person with complimentary tea and coffee.

During the summer months these are 'Pay and Play' sessions

The principal Summer Pairs Competition
The Competition is open to ALL Perth Bridge Club Members
There is still plenty of time to get involved in this Thursday night fun!
With twelve rounds still to go, competing pairs just need to participate in a minimum of 10 sessions to qualify.
Once a pair have posted 11 results they may 'drop' their lowest scores --- final results will be determined by their best 10 results
- the more you play the better your chances!
Scoring is by conventional Match Points
As well as the 'Scratch' competition all players will also have a handicapped score automatically calculated.
This means that our less experienced players who are improving their game can have a good chance of seeing their name on the Handicap Plate.
Visitors ( with a partner) are always welcome on Thursday nights but will not qualify for the competition
Double Dummy – a Bridge Film
