| Improver Nights |
♠ ♥ ♦ ♣ IMPROVER NIGHTS ♠ ♥ ♦ ♣
Essentially this is a normal duplicate Bridge tournament, but it is run in a relaxed way, with time allowed to discuss the hands and ask questions .
The intention is to have experienced players interacting with improvers, meaning those in or just emerging from the classes. These sessions will be Directed by Liz Grant, one of our teaching team.
Improvers are encouraged to seek experienced partners and anyone wishing to do this should email Liz Grant charlesliz@btinternet.com in advance so that such partners can be allocated.
It would be helpful if club players used Simple System Bidding (which is what is taught in the classes) but there is no edict to do this.
Alternative Systems and all conventions should be clearly explained in a relaxed and helpful manner.
The next such event is on Tuesday 29th November, 2016 at 6.45pm.
Do come and enjoy a friendly game in a social atmosphere.
You do not need to come with a partner, one will be found if you are alone.
Table money is £3.00 per person with complimentary tea and coffee.
