The winners of the CA Norris Trophy for 2015 were Phil and Linda Dickson.

They were presented with their trophies by club chairman Jim Buckland (centre).

The runners up in the CA Norris Trophy were Brian and Marion Mitchell.

We congratulate our club heat winners, Phil and Linda Dickson, who finished a magnificent 4th out of over two thousand pairs in the country with 69.74%.

The total amount raised for the Hospice was £353. On the Wednesday evening £243 was raised and we thank all those who played and made donations and also thank the Rugby Club.The Friday night group raised £110 so many thanks to them and to Ray Bliss who organised the evening.

£231 was raised on our duplicate fundraising evening on 17th October.

 Our thanks go to the volunteers and also the Rugby Club.

On the 19th October the Bridge Group at the Sailing Club raised a further £97

 therefore a total of £328 has been passed to the Charity.

We were joined in January at our annual fundraising evening  for the Hospice by groups from U3A and the Sailing Club.

We thank them for their support and also the Rugby Club and the volunteers from the Hospice. £321 was raised on the Wednesday and £84 on the Friday.

A total of £405 was raised including raffles, donations, Lucky Card competition and table money.

On 5th October 2011 the club raised £337.35 for the British Heart Foundation at our charity evening.

On 19th January we held our annual fundraiser for the Hospice. Apart from the usual duplicate we were joined by another competition with

members of the Improvers and U3A groups.

A total of £572 was raised from Table money, raffles, competitions and donations. This is £115 more than we raised last year

and we thank everybody for their support and help.

The club held a  fund-raising bridge evening on 8th September 2010. We raised £360.30 so thanks to all who took part and donated raffle prizes and gave donations. Also thanks to the  U3A Group and the Sailing Club Group for joining us and to the Rugby Club.

On 9th September we held a fund raising bridge evening. We were pleased to welcome a second group made up mainly of the Improvers Group and U3A members. A separate competition was held for them.

The evening with table money, raffle and donations, raised a total of £319.50. Thanks to all for their support for this very good cause.

At the end of the AGM on 16th September our President, Tom Fisher, presented a cheque for this amount to Cynthia Owen who was representing the British Heart Foundation.
