Welcome to our Club web page.
We are delighted that you have taken the time to have a look at our activities.
As you will see we play every Monday and Thursday mornings throughout the year. On Mondays the standard is intermediate plus and for those who prefer a more relaxed, social game, we play on Thursday mornings. We also organise at least 2 tournaments a year which are open to players from all Clubs. In addition, we have at least 2 'fun' days, bridge with a lot of socialising, twice a year.
Our members play a variety of bidding systems, Acol, 5 Card Majors, Benje Acol so whatever you play, you are welcome to join us.

Information
The Peace Bridge Club operates out of the Kamares Club just outside Tala.
The club has been running for more than 3 years now and has established itself in the bridge playing Paphos community. It meets every Monday morning to play duplicate bridge and normally endeavours to play around 28/30 boards in a morning. We also play on Thursday mornings at the same venue. Although still duplicate Thursday mornings are more social, relaxed bridge
Electronic Bridgemates scoring ensures that the results are available immediately at the end of play and members can opt to receive the results and the travellers on the web site every week whether they are playing or not. We use Dealer 4 to deal the hands and therefore full analysis on the hands and possible contracts is available.
Teas, coffees and soft drinks can be purchased from the Clubhouse throughout the session and there are a variety of places to eat after the morning's play.
A relaxed and friendly atmosphere is the order of the day and visitors are welcome.

Improvers Classes
The last of this series of classes was held on 10th February. However, we will invite Philippos Frangos back again and hope that he will accept.
Everyone who has attended this series of classes has learned more about the game of bridge. We were also privileged to have David and Mari Jones, Chief EBU Directors, attend 2 sessions.
Our grateful thanks must go to Philippos Frangos who has given of his time and knowledge selflessly with a view to advancing the game of bridge in Cyprus.
