SAVE THE DATE!!!
30 December will be the next Saturday bridge lesson/pot luck/ game! The lesson starts at 11 and will be on team game tactics. Pot luck lunch at 12. Game starts when we are finished eating.
We will be doing an ABCD Swiss team game. This is how the ABCD Swiss team game works:
Each team has 4 players, each ‘labeled’ A, B, C, or D.
The A player must have 0 – unlimited points
The B player must have 0 – 1500 points
The C player must have 0 – 500 points
The D player must have 0 – 100 points
For the 1st Swiss match, the A player and the B player MUST play together, the C player and the D player must play together.
For the 2nd match, the A player must play with the C player, the B player must play with the D player.
For the 3rd match, the A player must play with the D player, the B player must play with the C player.
For the 4th match, the team can do any pairing they want.
This is a great way to meet and play with some of our newer players and have some fun doing it. So save the date and start thinking about putting together your teams. When you have put together your team, please let me know. If you need a player or two, please let me know… I should be able to fill out your team if you give me a few days. Want to play but don’t have a team to join? Let me know and I’ll do my best to put you on a team.
This will be a great game/party to end the year. Hope to see you there!
