COURSES FOR BEGINNERS

We run a 30-week course (3 x 10-week terms) for complete beginners starting in October, and a follow-on year 2 course (30 weeks, 3 x 10-week terms) also from October. Each course is based on the 'Bridge for All' course developed by the English Bridge Union (EBU) and is a complete learn and play programme. The course is based on the Acol bidding system and assumes no previous knowledge of cards whatsoever, although it is also suitable for anyone who has played a little Bridge with friends and wants to improve their bidding and card play.

All of our 'Bridge for All' teachers have been trained to teach the course according the EBU standards. They are members of the EBU Teachers’ Association (EBTA), which provides all the training needed to be a successful teacher.

As a bonus, students who enrol on a course get that year's membership of Oxford Bridge Club free (worth £24 per year).

For more information on course dates, times and locations please click here. To go straight to the booking page click the green button below.
