Learn to play Bridge
Bridge for All courses for Beginners

Our beginners course runs each year starting in the autumn. The course is based on the English Bridge Union’s ‘Bridge for All’ programme, using the Acol bidding system. It is a carefully structured course that starts out by assuming no previous knowledge of cards.    It is also suitable for anyone who has played a little Bridge with friends and wants to learn more.

Booking is now open for the courses starting in October 2018.

If you would like to register to receive information about these and future beginner’s courses click on the "Info signup" button below and tick the relevant box or boxes.

Bridge for All - the scheme

Bridge for All is the complete learn and play programme developed for the English Bridge Union (EBU).   All teaching materials and student notes are included in the course fee however students will be expected to purchase the Bridge for All Coursebook covering the whole year and costing £22.   As a bonus, students are given 12 months membership of the English Bridge Union free of charge, which brings a range of benefits. The courses are comprehensive and fun.

All of our Bridge for All teachers have been trained to teach the course by the EBU. They are members of the EBU Teachers’ Association (EBTA), which provides all the training needed to be a successful teacher.

Further information can be found on the EBU website

Bridge for All - Year 2

The Year 2 of the EBU’s Bridge for All course runs each year in three terms of 10 weeks each starting in September /October. This course is open to those who have completed Year 1 of the Bridge for All course and to those with the equivalent knowledge of Bridge.  This course is designated as Next Step.

Please contact education@oxfordbridgeclub.com for further details if you are not one of our existing students.
