Weekly sessions
Thanks to everyone who came to our first session on Monday 3 October. It was agreed then to have sessions on Sundays from now on, rather than Mondays.
Sessions will be be held weekly starting on Sunday 16 October 2016 from 7.30pm. We will be in the mathematics building, likely in room A17 again. Any changes to this will be posted on our Facebook group.
Don't feel you have missed out by not attending the first session - there will be teaching throughout this term aimed at everyone, and you will quickly catch up even if you're a complete beginner!

First session
Thanks to everyone who found us at Freshers' Fair, and for the Games, Chess, and Poker societies who let us be at or near their stalls.
The first session is being held on Monday 3 October in the mathematics building (exact room tbc) from 6pm. We will be running teaching for both complete beginners and people who have played before, as well as general play.
Due to teaching we will not be running a fully scored drive, so feel free to drop in at any point - it's better but not essential to arrive near the start.

Freshers' Fair
The university Freshers' Fair is being held on 26 and 27 September 2016. As a newly (re)formed society, we won't have our own stall this year, but the Chess Club have kindly offered to help out, so find us at their stall. Hopefully we'll have space to have one of us behind the stall, but in any event there will be some information there.
