Help with Viewing Information in League Tables

Each Division in the League has its own set of tables. The first table - "Position" - shows the current standings of the teams ranked in the natural sequence of highest placed to lowest placed. The current standings are determined by the average of the scores accumulated for matches played rather than the total VPS.

The second table - "Results" - shows a summary of all the matches played in your division to date. The Horizontal Line against your team shows the results of your home matches with your team's VPs first and the opponent's VPs second. e.g. If on your line there is a score showing 13 - 7 this means you won a home match by 13 VPs to your opponent's 7 VPs.

The Vertical Column under your team's name shows the results of your away matches with your opponent's VPs shown first and your team's VPs shown second. e.g. If in your team's column there is a score of 4 - 16 this means the opposing team scored 4 and you scored 16 thus winning.

If you have a gap in your horizontal line this indicates a home match yet to be played. Similarly, if you have a gap in your vertical column this indicates an away match yet to be played.

The final table - "Teams" - shows in detail the match information for each match result. In this table "Team 1" indicates the home team and "Team 2" indicates the away team. The IMPs are shown as either the respective numbers of Imps scored by each team (if known) or the net plus Imps scored by the winning team. The VPs indicate the actual match result with home team shown first followed by away team. The date the match was played is shown together with any notes relating to circumstances associated with the match e.g. "Awaiting result slip" or "Score to be adjusted at end of season".
