| C.B.A.I. and Regions |
The Contract Bridge association was founded in 1932. The C.B.A.I. structure divides the country into thirteen geographical regions. The number and boundaries of Regions are determined from time to time by the Governing Council. The North Midland Region comprises Counties Westmeath, Longford and Offaly with 24 affiliated clubs. The presidency rotates within the clubs of the region each year, the other regional officers are elected at the AGM which is held May/June.
