We are now using Electronic Scoring (BridgeTabs) at the club. Please arrive no later than 7pm so that we can arrange a movement, and have your EBU number to hand as that will speed up the process.

Formed in 1992, NBC is now a well-established, friendly, EBU-affiliated club which plays at Weoley Castle WMC where we use the club's concert room and its ample off-road parking facilities.

There is a one-off joining fee of £10 with an annual membership of £8. Table money, which includes a refreshments charge, is just £2.50 for members and non-members alike, but non-members may expect to be asked to pay a £1 entrance fee to WMC. Members are also obliged to join the WMC but the charge for this is met from NBC resources

We meet each Monday and Thursday evening at 7.00 pm to be ready for a 7.15 pm start. Generally, the bridge is less competitive at our Monday sessions but on both days we are currently seeing between ten and fourteen tables in play.

We both welcome and encourage players who want to try playing at a bridge club for the first time and our membership ranges all the way from novices to a Grand Master.

We run a host system on most Thurday nights so that we are able to offer to un-partnered visitors someone with whom they may play.

Monday sessions commence at 7.00 p.m.
Table money is £2.50, and this includes a refreshments charge.
You are welcome to come along but please be aware that currently there is no host system  on Mondays so if you do intend to turn up it is better to come with a partner or to telephone Linda Motley on 0121 476 4099 as she may be able to help.
