LESSONS - GENERAL INFORMATION - UPDATE AUGUST 2023
We have successfully run English Bridge Education and Development (EBED) courses since 2010 - the lessons are run by a qualified member of the English Bridge Teachers Association (EBTA) teacher. They follow the national curriculum set out by the EBED. EBEB is charity set up by the English Bridge Union (EBU) to deal with educational matters.
Ideally to run teaching sessions a minimum of 4 participants are needed - course dynamics are improved with more participants leading to better teaching.
We are offering a course for Beginners to start in September /October 2023 (see box above). If interested please contact Ross Stacey (details below)
Bridge is a very social activity. During the courses we actively encourage and promote the game, plus we always give individual help and advice when needed and we make sure that it is fun! Most people who attend the courses usually succeed in playing in the club.
If you are interested please let us know.

The course teacher has been teaching since 2010 - except for a gap from March 20 to October 21 caused by Covid. Teaching experience includes the Beginners Course, Improvers Course , Ah Hoc Lessons and Revision Lessons. Also hand commentaries for club playing sessions have also been provided plus selected hands with a teaching theme and handout for a normal club session. A beginners course was also ran at a village resulting a local weekly social bridge club.
Our current strategy is to focus on the Beginners Course and to support beginners.
