Club History

Northampton Bridge Club was formed in 1962 by bridge players who met in the former Kitson's cafe in Fish Street. It moved to its current premises in 1965 at 16 The Crescent, near the White Elephant .

The club meets regularly on three evenings a week on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7-25pm for a 7-30pm start. Sessions last about 3 hours . On these evenings the club runs either duplicate pairs or duplicate teams events with occassional simultaneous charity events

The club also hosts the winter league open to all clubs in the southern half of the County.

New members are very welcome and encouraged . Standards at the club vary from players new to duplicate bridge to County level.
