WEDNESDAY CLUB NEWS
Remember that the Wednesday club runs throughout the summer so that everyone can still get practice when lessons stop. Students who’ve completed one year can revise with Glenda in the side room.
THURSDAY CLUB NEWS
On 19 June the session will be held in the small hall (blood donor session taking place in the main hall). Please note that it will start at 1.30 pm. Tables are limited to 15 so if you would like to attend please add your name to the list on the notice board or email Jane. There will be no host that day.

| BRIDGE FOR NEW BEGINNERS |
INTRODUCE A FRIEND to bridge at our TASTER AFTERNOON on TUESDAY 12th AUGUST 1.15-3.30 at New Haw Community Centre.
Come and play with your 'new to bridge' friend or encourage them to attend independently and join a friendly table of other newcomers.
£5 for 'new to bridge' players. FREE for accompanying bridge player friends.

| 'POP UP' CLASS |
WEDNESDAY 18th JUNE, BYFLEET, 9.45 - 12.00
'PLANNING THE DEFENCE IN NO TRUMPS'
Leigh will be doing some occassional classes at her home in Byfleet. This first 'pop up' bridge class will be on the topic of defence in No Trumps. The subject will benefit all players from improvers to duplicate players (improving defence is the secret to impoving your results!). Anyone who has been learning for at least a year is welcome.

| BRIDGE WEEKENDS |
Harrold Schogger is organising a bridge weekend in October at the Chatsworth Hotel in Worthing. We have been to Harold's weekends in the past and they are very friendly aned suitable for anyone with a little experience of duplicate bridge. i.e. Thursday and Friday club player and the more experienced Wednesday players.
