Championship Pairs - Amy Baker Salver |
The Championship Pairs competition is an annual competition for members only for which the Amy Baker Salver (+shield) is awarded to the winning pair.
There will be one round on the first Thursday of every month. Each pair must have two identically completed convention cards.
The winning pair is the one with the highest aggregate of the best six qualifying rounds in which they compete. A tie will be determined in favour of the pair with the best single percentage score in any round - if still tied, then their second best scores etc.
This competition has been nominated, in accordance with EBU directives, as the club major championship and is therefore eligible for local points awarded at the "District" level (ie 150% of the normal) for all rounds.
