Would you like to improve your ability and confidence to play Duplicate Bridge? 

Newbury Bridge Club is starting a new type of Duplicate Bridge session - no partner required

Monday evenings  7:00 – 10:00 pm                 Commencing Monday 3^rd June   (in the bar area)
(Please note that Rubber Bridge will continue as usual in the main Bridge room )

These evenings will enable you to practise Duplicate Bridge in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere so you can beome steadily more confident playing in any company. The format will be a playing session of about two hours followed by an open discussion of some of the hands in order to improve your understanding of both bidding and card play.

Cost:  £2.00 / person / evening

Start Time Duplicate Evenings

For evening duplicate events it is essential that at least one of the partnership is seated

at table by 7pm at the latest to allow for the movement to be set and a punctual start at 7.15pm.

If you wish to play in the daytime don't forget No Fear bridge on Thursday afternoons. This is particularly suitable for beginners/improvers or if you haven't played for a while. You don't need to be a member of Newbury Bridge Club and you can turn up without a partner. £2 per session. 1.15 p.m. for a 1.30 p.m. start.  Finish 4.00 p.m
