| Univeral Membership and Pay to Play |
The EBU's new Pay to Play scheme came into operation in April 2010
New Amersham is affiliated to the EBU. This means that about 35p of your table money at each session goes to running the County and National organisations of Bridge. Also all members of New Amersham are automatically members of the EBU. This allows you to play in County and all National events. Once you have played in 12 times (at any affiliated club or other County / National Events) you will be elligible to receive the EBU Bridge Magazine, and an EBU diary. There is no need thereafter to pay an annual subscription fee, though if you want to be a joint member of two County associations, you may be liable for a fee - usually £4 or £5.
