Monday 9th Jan 2012

Work starts in earnest after the Holiday break.

The interior brickwork is layed. These are the walls on either end of the Kitchen.

The Timber frame goes up. In the foreground are the roof trusses, ready for erection.

You can see the size of the playing area, with the Kitchen (brick walls) in the background.

Note the many window frames (5 at the front, 2 on each side), allowing us a bright, airy club room.

20th January 2012

The roof trusses are up, and the Tiles delivered (foreground right).

If you look carefully at the inset (lower left) you might spot the sloping line of the high interior ceiling, making for a quiet, spacious  playing area.

There are plenty of window, ensuring pleasant playing conditions at all times.

The roof tiles are nearly complete, and in the right hand side of the picture you can see the external brick work has commenced.
  12 February 2012

We are now at "Lock Up" stage. The exterior is complete, and the doors and windows have been fitted. The work now is all interior, so rainy days no longer can delay us.

You can see the entrance, and the ramp with it's sheltered roof access.

We now have "Inside". Here's our first picture of the inside of our Club. Towards the back, you can see the kitchen, and the bathrooms (or at least the frames). On the left is the area for the Tables. And above, you can see the raked ceiling lines, making for a quiet, spacious area.

The tiles for the kitchen and bathrooms are done. Painters are next, then the Plumber and Electricial fittings, and we are (hopefully) on target for completion by 28th April.
  27 April 2012
27 April 2012The painting is almost finished. The newly painted walls brighten the playing area, and next week the Electricians and Plumbers move in.

Driveway

The excavation for the Carpark Driveway is complete, and the concrete is to be poured on Monday 30th April. We expect to be playing in our new home by early-to-mid May.
