| Masterpoints Workshop - October 21st |

Master Points are awarded to Bridge Players for their accomplished performances
throughout the bridge year
Each club is responsible for recording and reporting the Masterpoints in a bridge
season for their club
This workshop will deal with the gathering of masterpoints and the awarding to
club players in competitions in the club
The workshop is aimed at all Club Master Point Secretary’s Experience or non-
experienced with a lot of information for the new secretary’s
We will take you through all awarding of masterpoints from novice players to
National Competitions We will explain how different clubs award points for
different competitions and grades
We will show you how to set up the points system to make it easier for you to
calculate them
Players should attend to see how and why they receive masterpoints and how they
move up grades

This is a competition and learning day for Novice and "B" players. Bidding and play will be discussed. There will be hand analyses and prizes for each of the Grades.
There will be senior players to advise and help with bidding and play.
The competitions will be run by qualified Tournament Directors and played under the "Laws of Bridge"
