Welcome to the Mount Merrion Bridge Club. The Club is well established, having been founded in 1954. We are affiliated to the Eastern Region of the CBAI and a number of our members play regularly in competitions at regional and national level. Each year, the Club hosts the Eastern Region Memorial Trophy competiton which is held in memory of past members of the Region.

We meet at 7.30 p.m. on Tuesday evenings in Leopardstown Park Hospital; for directions, please see the map on this website. There is ample free parking - upon arrival, take a ticket to raise the entry barrier and then have it validated at the reception desk. The hospital is adjacent to the Luas Green Line Central Park station. We play in a bright, well heated and comfortable hall which is at ground floor level which means that there are no accessibility issues.

The Club is managed by an active committee.  A number of special events are held during the year including a Club Pairs Competition, a President's Prize and a highly convivial Christmas Party. At the club, you will enjoy a good standard of bridge (mostly Intermediate A and Master players) and a friendly atmosphere. In order to ensure that our competitions run smoothly, we employ a tournament director and use Bridgemates for scoring. Results are available at the end of play and are published promptly on this web-site.

With the exception of the evenings on which major competitions are being played (see Calendar), visitors are welcome to play once in each month when accompanied by a club member. In addition, occasional visiting pairs are welcome with the approval of the Secretary. We are endeavouring as far as possible to comply with the terms of our CBAI public liability policy.

We are extremely happy to receive applications for membership.

The Club Pairs competition will be played on November 15 and November 22. The entry fee will be Euros 20 per player.

Those wishing to play in this competition must pre-enter by signing up on the list that is available at the Club. Please note that the entry is limited to a maximum of thirty pairs.
