| MORNINGTON PENINSULA BRIDGE ASSOCIATION |
 The Mornington Peninsula Bridge Association is a not-for-profit organisation supported by the bridge clubs on the Mornington Peninsula. The Association's main objective is to encourage the playing of bridge on the Peninsula. It intends to establish educational programmes for all levels of bridge players and develop a programme of inter-club and inter regional competitions, including an annual congress.

| MPBA CONGRESS |
Brian Morgan and Bendigo Bank's representative Alex Godfrey awarding prizes for the Teams competition.
Winners of the Pairs competition, which was held on the previous day, can be accessed on the NEWS PAGE. Thanks to James Crowder of COMMUNITY REAL ESTATE who donated the prizes for each of the divisions in this event.

Winners of the Teams in the MPBA section of this Congress : Team leader Lindsay Young, her partner Kate Bechet, and Bev Pollard and her partner Eileen Farren with the representative of the BENDIGO BANK. The BENDIGO BANK generously donated the prize money for each of the divisions in the Teams event.

First place in the B division of the Teams was awarded to Team leader Alison Inchley, her partner Barry Fullwood and Hal Gordon and his partner John Higgins.

 The MORNINGTON BRIDGE GROUP is run by Lindsay Young and Maggie Callender.
Lindsay runs and Directs the WEDNESDAY afternoon session which commences at 1.00 pm.
Maggie runs and Directs the TUESDAY evening session which commences at 7.15 pm.
The venue is St Mark's Uniting Church Hall, Barclay Street, Mornington. Contact Lindsay on 0414 824 313 or Maggie on 0404 611 471.

 The PENINSULA BRIDGE CLUB is run by Wendy and Geoff Fletcher.
Duplicate bridge commences at 1.00 pm on FRIDAY of each week at the Mount Eliza Community Centre Foyer, 90 - 100 Canadian Bay Road, Mount Eliza.
A supervised session of Bridge With No Fear is run every Tuesday from 1.00 pm. This is for beginners, improvers and anyone wishing to brush up their bridge in a non-competitive environment.

 The RYE BEACH BRIDGE CLUB is run by Brian and Margaret Morgan.
Each MONDAY at 9.30 am a duplicate session is held at Watsons Pavilion, Percy Cerutty Oval, Back Beach Rd., Portsea.
There is a supervised clinic from 10.15 am until 12.15 pm each THURSDAY at Rye Beach Community Centre.
And at 1.00 pm, on the same day, duplicate is played at the Rye Beach Community Centre.
