The Director for the Perpetual Trophy was Martin Willcox, ably assisted by his granddaughter Samantha. Samantha was the highlight of the day. Thank you both for an excellent day of bridge.

MORNINGTON PENINSULA BRIDGE ASSOCIATION
MORNINGTON PENINSULA BRIDGE ASSOCIATION

The Mornington Peninsula Bridge Association is a not-for-profit organisation supported by the bridge clubs on the Mornington Peninsula. The Association's main objective is to encourage the playing of bridge on the Peninsula. It intends to establish educational programmes for all levels of bridge players and develop a programme of inter-club and inter regional competitions, including an annual congress.

FRANK McCONVILL PERPETUAL TROPHY
FRANK McCONVILL PERPETUAL TROPHY

This Swiss Pairs event was held on Saturday 27 April to acknowledge Frank's memory as a fine Director, committed bridge player and wonderful friend.

Pat McConvill presented the winners, Penny Van Der Reit and Sue Smith, with their first prize. 

Second in this event were Paul Corry and Geoff Fletcher.

Third in the event were Sue Beckman and Colin Shugg.

First in the Restricted section of this event were Rosemary Chard and Eunice Payne.

PENINSULA BRIDGE CLUB

The PENINSULA BRIDGE CLUB is run by Wendy and Geoff Fletcher.

Duplicate bridge commences at 1.00 pm on FRIDAY of each week at the St James the Less Church Hall, 105, Koetong Parade, Mount Eliza.

A supervised session of Bridge With No Fear is run every Tuesday from 1.00 pm. This is for beginners, improvers and anyone wishing to brush up their bridge in a non-competitive environment.

RYE BEACH BRIDGE CLUB

The RYE BEACH BRIDGE CLUB is run by Margaret Morgan.

Each MONDAY at 9.30 am a duplicate session is held at Watsons Pavilion, Percy Cerutty Oval, Back Beach Rd., Portsea

There is a supervised clinic from 9.30 am until 12.15 pm each THURSDAY  at Rosebud Memorial Hall
And at 1.00 pm, on the same day, duplicate is played at the Rosebud Memorial Hall.
