Ginny Price & John Grantham 72.22% game on Thursday Morning 2015-01-08

Every year UNIT 230 presents a trophy to the woman and man who earns the most master points in sectionals tournaments which represented the cumulative performance over the 12 Atlantic sectional tournaments for the year.

To win this trophy requires hard work and dedication along with many tournament plays and the competition can be fierce!  This year was no exception with a highly friendly competition between our club and Fredericton for top spot.

I am happy to announce that our club members took both trophy this year!!!

Congratulation goes out to (drumroll please):

Anne Posch -Callaghan trophy

Jonathan Shute - Springhill trophy

These trophies are awarded based on who wins the most Master Points  in a year at 12 Sectional tournaments sponsored by Unit 230 (NB/PEI)  and Unit 194(NS/NL).

Special mention goes to Mary Cotter and Mike Wood of Fredericton, as close seconds.

Our very own Anne Mahoney of Moncton was third in the Callaghan race this year well done!

Congratulation to a great showing at the NAOP by club members!

Congrats to some great finishes in the recent Atlantic North American Pairs finals:

Rob Kitchen and Mark Golding Second in Flight B,

Celia Cobbett and Pattie Moody Second in Flight C

Anne Posch and Jonathan Shute Third in Flight A

Psst!  We love to celebrate our units wins and successes.  Know of any not listed? We would love to add them!
