Worthing Bridge Weekend

Friday 6^th October – Sunday 8^th October 2017

We are pleased to invite you to a weekend of bridge at the Ardington Hotel in the West Sussex seaside resort of Worthing. We start on the Friday night with a welcoming reception followed by an evening meal, and will have prize bridge sessions on the Friday and Saturday nights and on Sunday morning, followed by lunch. We will also hold an informal duplicate session on Saturday afternoon.

The cost will be £195 per person (£188 for non-bridge-playing guests). There is no single person supplement (subject to availability). This includes:

• Friday and Saturday nights’ accommodation

• Dinner on Friday and Saturday, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, lunch on Sunday

• All bridge sessions with prizes and EBU master points

   

A limited number of premium rooms are available for £30 extra per person (for two people sharing). If you wish to stay for an extra night, the Ardington are offering Sunday night with breakfast on Monday morning for an extra £58 per person.

The number of players will be restricted to 12 full tables to fit comfortably into the playing room, and we have been allocated 25 single occupancies with no supplement. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis – so book early to guarantee your place.

Established in 1928, the Ardington is Worthing’s leading privately owned and managed hotel. The day-to-day activities are personally supervised by Richard and Simon Margaroli, assisted by their loyal team of staff.

The hotel occupies an Edwardian terrace situated in a prestigious town-centre location overlooking Steyne Gardens.

The promenade and pier are 100 metres away, the shopping centre and all amenities are only a short stroll across the gardens.

All accommodation is on ground and first floors only. All rooms have luxury duvets (sheets and blankets available upon request), the full package of Freeview channels (approximately 80) and Skyp Sport (1, 2, and 3), complimentary fibre-based Wi-Fi with a 4MB download speed and access to a complimentary DVD library featuring almost 200 films, including past classics and current box office hits.

Premium bedrooms are contemporary in style with air-conditioning, silk curtains and shades, small sofas, luxury duvets, bedroom fridge and safe, ironing centre and hard wired internet access.

Car parking is available on the road outside the hotel, costing £10.50 from midday on Friday through until 9.00am Monday morning. (Free parking for Blue Badge holders.) If you experience any difficulty in finding a suitable parking place, please unload directly outside the hotel, and the staff will be happy to find a space for you and/or park your car for you.
