"Easy Going" Duplicate
7:30pm - 10:30pm
For location maps click on the postcodes above.
Play starts at the stated times - please arrive earlier to ensure a prompt start
Please note that it has been necessary to revise the calendar slightly,
The Swiss Pairs will take place on Wednesday 20 June and Heat 2 of The Club Championship will take place on Wednesday 13 June
Easy Going Duplicate sessions are formed around a standard duplicate session consisting of around 18 boards so as not to put time pressure on individuals and to allow time for the discussion of a few of the hands.
The sessions are aimed at new and improving players, though we hope that some experienced players will also join in. We would ask that these latter only use relatively simple bidding conventions.
A partner is not needed as a host will be provided.
The cost per player is just £3.00
We do not play on bank holidays so the sessions for April to June 2018 are:
All sessions start at 14-00......please be there by 13-45 so that we know how many people are there and can select an appropriate duplicate bridge movement
See "Find a Partner" button on the left hand menu on this page that allows you log into the members area to post details of when you are looking for a partner. Clicking this button will let you see if anyone is looking for a partner on a particular date without logging in, however to find the identity of the person seeking a partner you will need to log in. Alternatively you may wish to contact our partner arranger, details below, who will do his best to try and fix you up - though the more notice you give the better chances he has of finding you a partner. If you are willing to be contacted when someone else is looking for a partner we would also like to know.
Contact Roger on 01908- 614661 or firstname.lastname@example.org (Preferably at least a day before the game!)
