We offer a complete range of Bridge Courses from those suitable to complete beginners to those for more advancing students. We have revision courses to help existing players improve and we have supervised play sessions for novice students with expert supervision to advise and assist with problems.
Beginners Bridge Course
Evening Class Thursday 21st January 7.30pm
The Beginners Bridge Course is designed for people with no bridge experience. We move forward in simple steps and have fun along the way. There is no requirement to come with a partner. The Bridge Club very soon becomes a place to meet up with friends and arrange a game.
Play / Defence Course (Basic Practical Card Play)
This is a 10 week course. The second 5 weeks of this course are as follows:-
Morning Class Monday 1st February 10am.
Evening Class Wednesday 3rd February 7.30 pm
This course is aimed at students who have completed the Beginners Bridge Course. The aim of the course is to enhance the students knowledge of Basic Card Play Techniques.
Improvers Bidding Course
This Course is designed for students who have mastered the Beginners Bidding Course and want to take their bidding to the next level. The is a 5 week course details outlined below:
Week 1 - Strong 2 Openings and Responses
Week 2 - Slam Bidding. Gerber and Blackwood
Week 3 - Pre-emptive Opening Bids and Responses
Week 4 - Overcalls and Responses
Week 5 - Takeout Doubles and Responses
Morning Class commences Monday 2nd November and Evening Class commences Thursday 5th November.
