Milford-on-Sea Bridge Club
We are a small Bridge Club situated in the delightful village of Milford-on-Sea, which lies on the coast between Lymington and Christchurch. We play Duplicate Bridge on Monday afternoons and Wednesday evenings. We also play on a Thursday afternoon during the autumn and winter and these will recommence on 8th September. We play in the hall of the Baptist Church which is located in Barnes Lane, about a half mile from the centre of the village.
The club, which is currently not a member of the EBU, was originally set up to provide a pleasant social experience, and this remains our objective. We are not a club for "experts", indeed people familiar with larger clubs might find us rather informal. We have no cups to win or master points to give. The weekly result is the limit of our competitive aspirations.
Visitors receive a warm welcome and seem to find us very friendly and say how much they enjoy the experience. We have never turned anybody away but if you need a partner then please contact the secretary who will do their best to find you one.
Table money is £1.50 for members and £3 for visitors and includes tea/coffee and biscuits.
If this is the bridge experience you are seeking, please click "information" and contact either the Chairman or Secretary.
