STaC week is scheduled for October 17-23 across District 2. We will compete in two sessions:

Monday afternoon October 17

Wednesday afternoon October 19

These games award extra-high Silver Points, and those points could increase if our winners do well compared to other invitational clubs playing in the same game.

The 2016 annual Mississaugua Golf and Country Club Invitational Swiss Team event was held on Sunday October 2 with teams from 5 different clubs around the GTA participating.

The winners, from the Granite Club, were Marian and Jill Thompson, Shirley Ashworth and Rosemary Cheung.

The next 3 places were taken by teams representing MGCC. They were:

2nd: Judy Louch, Janice Colcleugh, Joanne Bromley, and Barbara Beckmann

3rd: Jan and Al Woolfrey, Maria McDonell, and Selwyn Kossuth

4th: Liga Haiplik, Heather Howie, Gail Titus and Paula Coleman

Congratulations to the 2016 Trophy Day Champs Jan and Al Woolfrey who scored a 2 game average of 61.1% beating out runner's-up Cathy Kay and Kathy Hill who turned in an average of 59.7% over the 2 games played on September 14 & 21.

In the 299er 2-game Trophy Day, Heather Howie and Liga Haiplik scored an average of 58.9% just beating out their runner's-up, Maris Taylor and Annelise Schultz, who posted a 58.5% average for their 2 games held on September 12 & 19.

Thanks to everyone who came out to provide stiff competition to these Champs!

In order to become a member of this Website, you will need the Club Registration Code. To get this code, click on the left panel "♠ Contact Us" tab, fill out the info and request the code. We will only email the code to those who play at the club. You may also request the code while playing at a game

When you receive the code, click on the "♥ Members Only" tab on the left panel, click on the "Register" button, and fill out the information required including your own password that you will use to login with when you become a Member.

Once you are a member, you can make use of the Partnership feature of the website. 

Lessons will be offered on Monday mornings from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. by Sally Rewbotham. The cost is $15 per person. You do not need to have a partner except for the Bidding Practice for Partnerships sessions.

This website was developed to provide bridge players at the Mississaugua Golf & Country Club access to their scores and other statistics almost immediately after a game has been completed, since results are quickly uploaded directly from the gamesite computer.

Statistics that are available include year-to-date scoring races for everyone as well as for those 0-300 players, game percentages, high games, and attendance. These are all accessed on the left sidebar by clicking on "Competitions".

You can also see how you have been doing in every game since October 1, 2015, which partner you played with, and how many masterpoints you earned in each of those games. Click on "Personal Analysis" on the left sidebar and search for your name.

Detailed results for all games played since October 2015 are posted. Click on the "Results" tab on the left, or for the most recent games click on one of the games shown on the right. When you click on your name, these results give a detailed analysis of how you and your partner did on a hand-by-hand basis, what the best possible result for each hand was and how all other pairs fared on each of those hands.
