Learn to play bridge!

Many of the clubs in Merseyside offer beginners' and/or improvers' lessons. There are also easy duplicate sessions for improvers. As these change in availability it is not possible to keep a definitive list on this site. You can access the clubs' websites through the link top left on this site. Depending on where you live, possible clubs to try include Blundellsands BC, Deva, Liverpool BC, and Merseyside Bridge Centre.

County Events
County Events - green-pointed
These are events where green points are awarded to the top third of the field or, in the case of Swiss-style events, per match won or drawn. As the EBU charges more for the award of green points, these events are unavoidably more expensive than black-pointed events. They still represent excellent value for money however, plus the opportunity to play against some of the top players in the North West and in Wales. A brilliant way to improve your game!
For full information see the booking form for the individual event, which will be published nearer the time of the event.
Organisers: please remember to supply full details of your events (if they are open to players who are not members of your club) plus an entry form in .doc or .pdf format to be published on the county website. You can contact the webmaster using the "contact us" facility. Thanks
