Standard System Cards |
Here are links to standard system cards produced for Meon members. They should be printed on double-sided printer setting. These can be used as they are or can be tailored to the system agreed within a partnership. Any additional conventions used must be added to the partnership's cards.
The use of system cards at Meon Bridge Club is covered by the Club's policy.
Standard English ACOL
Standard basic Benji-ACOL
NB: It is important that both partners have and use identical system cards

Conventions |
Conventions you may want to discuss with your partner:
- Landy
- Unassuming Cue Bid
- Keycard or Roman Keycard Blackwood
- Gerber
- Michaels Cue bid
- Unusual No Trump
- Splinters
- Jacoby
- Crowhurst
- Puppet Stayman
- McKendrick/Baron
- Ogust
The list is not exclusive.
Don’t worry if you do not know what these are. If you don’t know they will not form part of your agreement with your partner! If you do use any of them it needs to be incorporated into your card. You also need to check that the values of the various bids shown on the card are as you play them.
You may also use a different discard/signalling system. This is likely be Dodds or McKenny and, if you do, you need to alter the last page of your card.
A description of some of the conventions used at the Club can be found here.
