MBBC – Actions agreed at Committee Meeting held 13/11/2014 at ´La Proa´

Monday & Thursday Bridge
Competitive Bridge now at both sessions. However Thursday sessions will be more relaxed, and anyone can just come along without a partner if they don´t have one. Note: 10 pairs attended last Thursday´s session. Experienced players please attend to stretch & encourage the inexperienced players.
Marketing
Flyers advertising MBBC to be put up in the surrounding campsites. Jon to amend the previous ´poster´.
Stationery & Equipment
New Boards & cards now in use Mondays. Peter has redesigned our travellers to fit in the Board pockets. Lawrie & Jon to liaise re best price obtaining new cardboard scorecards.
MBBC match against Los Alcazares
Team should be restricted to MBBC members only. Team to be finalised Monday17/11 (subsequent to meeting, team finalised. John VB captain, Jon to circulate directions).
Matches against other clubs
This will be explored late January when more members are around.

Issues re Accounts not being ´secured´ to be resolved by Jon & Phil.
Running the Club
Phil will take back the reigns on Jan 1st.
Xmas Break
If numbers don´t warrant play in 2nd half of Dec, 1st half of Jan, there will be no bridge to save the 100€ charge for the room.
MBBC 2015 Membership
The 5€ Subscriptions for 2015 Annual Membership (January to December) are now being collected by Anne. Jon will issue laminated Membership Cards which will replace the paper receipts which are initially handed out.
