October 25 - 27 – Fall Sectional Tournament – LVAL

Friday and Saturday will offer two single sessions pairs games (you need not play both sessions).  Sunday will be two-session Swiss teams. 

Game times will be 10:00am and 2:30pm 

For the first time Saturday morning at 10:30am we are offering a FREE 0-20 point game.

The Wednesday evening games at Betsy's and Arup's homes again on Oct. 9th and Sept. 25th respectively

The First and Third Mondays of each month at Lehigh Valley Active Life a separate 0-199 section is run. Partners can not be guaranteed for either the 0-199 or 0-750 sections.

At the start of Lehigh University's fall 2024 semester, a table at Lehigh's club fair was set up .... drawing about 75 interested new students. 

Last year a core of 8-10 students came out to learn and play with others showing up when they could.

This year we will be using ACBL's Intro to Bridge Series 1 and 2 Student Manuals, as well as cards, boards and bid boxes, donated by the ACBL

The students took the initiative to apply to the Student Senate for official recognition as a student club; which was approved prior to the Fall 2024 semester. 

This year we are encouraging students to enter to 0-20 MP Free game in LVBA's Fall Sectional.  Additionally to become participants in next years College Bowl at the Philadelphia Nationals.

The classes will led by Lee Stanley, a retired Lehigh professor, and fellow Lehigh grads Paul Irvine and Mike Kohler.  Our goal for 2024-25 is to expand the club to include all levels of Lehigh students, instructors and administrators.
