Two-stage competitions

Club pairs championship: our major annual competition, played in two stages on Mondays in the Spring term. Enhanced masterpoint scale.

Sheila Jones trophy: played in two stages in the Autumn term. Enhanced masterpoint scale.

Club ladders (members results only)

Lourensz trophy: based on an individual's top 15 scores over the main season as long as there are at least 5 tables playing.

McKenzie  trophy: based on individual's top 15 scores over the main season but excluding players of premier master rank or above .Scores will ony count if there are at least 5 tables.

Gillard trophy: based on individual averages over the "off" (summer) season..Scores will ony count if there are at least 5 tables.

We also show pairs averages and masterpoints (including non-members) over the full season.

Other competitions

Club teams of four trophy: consists of an initial heat run in January, followed by a knock out competition for the top qualifying teams.

Play by dates will be allocated for each round.Up to two substitutes who have not played in the competition will be allowed.

Gertrude Goldsmith random teams: a single-session teams event run in April. Random teams are made up by drawing lots.

Mixed pairs: a single-session competition run in September. The Flitch trophy goes to the top married couple within the mixed pairs competition.

Committee cup: run towards the end of each season, in June, only players who have not won a club competition during the year and are not in the top 20 of the ladder can qualify and excluding player of Premier Master rank or above.
