SBU Chairman
FOR INFORMATION
I am passing this on as requested.
Harry
Hi Everyone
Normally the District Chairmen propose a candidate for SBU President (this year it is Mike Ash ED Chairman) and this is confirmed at the AGM in May. This year a second candidate is standing and for the first time in living memory there will be an election. The second candidate is Archie Bouverie (also from the ED) who has his own website at www.sbufuture.co.uk
The ED Committee supports its Chairman and requests that you put the attached notice up prominently in your Club so that your members can vote either in person at the AGM or by proxy - details are on the notice.
Thanks
Anne

Election of SBU President

The East District Committee is fully supportiveof the decision of the SBU Council to
propose Mike Ash (the current ED Chairman) for the presidency of the SBU.

The Committee encourages ED members to attend the SBU Annual General Meeting on
Tuesday 29 May 2012 at Stirling BC, or to submit a proxy vote for the candidate
of their choice (form available on the ED website,
www.sbueast.org.uk).

Perkins (ED Secretary)

               Well done!!

As the Season draws to a close the President and Committee Members send our Best Wishes on behalf of all Members to Kath, Joan, Brian and Mae. We wish them all a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing or continuing to see them at the Bridge Table in the future.
