We are Full Members of the English Bridge Union's Teaching Association. There are only four such qualified teachers in the whole of Wales.

Yes, the syllabus provides for those who have never played cards before. |
Do I get help when I'm playing? |
Yes, the sessions have at least one teacher who will discuss your options with you to help you make the best choices. |
Do you have crib sheets? |
Yes, when you start to play independently then you can use our crib sheets to help you find your feet. |
Do we get to practise what we have learnt? |
Yes, often the hands are prepared to support the topic that you have just learned. |
Are you very experienced players? |
No, average to good club players, but the best players often do not make the best teachers. We have concentrated on getting our teaching methods right and this has been recognised by the EBU. |
Are the results scored? |
Yes, the hands that you play are scored and placed on our web site. There is also an "expert" view on how the hand might be bid. |
Can I see the hands that we played so that I can improve? |
Yes, the hands are also put online with the scores so that you can improve your Bridge. |
Do you organise any special events? |
Yes, we organise weekends away so that you can improve your Bridge and get to know people better.
We also run competitions for Beginners and Improvers. |
What happens when I complete the course? |
You receive a certificate of qualification. You may then continue as an Improver or join a Bridge club of your choice. We recommend Lisvane and Rhiwbina Bridge Clubs. |
Do you hold competitions? |
Yes, as part of the very popular weekends away and as a club. |
Do you charge for handouts or a joining fee? |
No, unlike many organisations there are additional charges. You pay as you go. So you can try without having to make any up front payment. |
