One of the outcomes of the committee meeting on 26th Feb 2007 was that all Pairs events henceforth will be scored using the "Neuberg Formula"  for any boards which are played a different number of times. This method has been used by the EBU and WBF in all their pairs events in the last two decades, and is widely adopted by other local clubs.

Most of the time, this will produce a result which is identical to normal "simple" pairs scoring, but for movements with a half table where we do not play a full movement, this will have a small effect on scoring - we had just such a session on 26th Feb (10.5 Tables, nine 3-board rounds were played, some boards were played 8 times, and some boards were played 9 times).  This results in Fractional MP scores.
