Many thanks for those who responded to this initiative. The Club are assessing the many views contained and will be feeding back soon to the members. One initial view is that the Club may trial an 'Easy duplicate' session on Tuesdays in the New Year, maybe once a month as a start point. See website for more details in due course.

This is the qualifier for one of the County's premier competitions. To progress to a semi-final in the New Year, pairs need to exceed 50.00%. Success in the Final for 3 pairs means an opportunity to play in the Corwen trophy, a prestigious national tournament held at the end of May.

For those not wishing to qualify no problem, this is a normal bridge session and usual cost price applies.

The next County competition is the Ghost Pairs on Sunday 6th November at Dunholme Village Hall at 1.30pm.  Please enter if you can.

Lincoln Central Library are holding an open event on Saturday 19th November, between 11am and 3pm, and City of Lincoln Bridge Club have been invited to participate.

Chairman John and the Committee think this is a great opportunity to promote our Club and encourage new players. John has asked for volunteers who can both demonstrate playing the game (for up to 4 hours) but also talking to potential interested visitors. If you can help please let the Chairman know.

The City of Lincoln Bridge Club meets 3 times every week in the new spacious Bridge Room at the Lindum Sports Association on St. Giles Avenue, Lincoln LN2 4PE. 

Normal Club Duplicate sessions are held on Mondays and Thursdays at 6.50pm and on Wednesday at 1.20pm. Table money (from February 2015) is £2.50 for members and £5 for visitors.

Lindum Sports Association has good parking facilities and a bar, not to mention a lovely view of the cricket field!

New players and visitors are very welcome and partners can usually be found wherever needed.

We hope to put some interesting hands in this section from time to time, they are aimed at the typical club player who wants to get better. If you have any nominations please let us know.

The Club always needs people to help run our bridge sessions. Members are asked if they can be available to train in dealing, computer scoring, or TD training. Please let a Committee member know if you can help. We especially need more volunteers for Mondays especially computer scoring, you will be helped to learn!

The City of Lincoln Club arranges 'Improver Classes' and 'New to Bridge' teaching' on Tuesday evenings at 7pm in the Lindum Sports Association, St. Giles Avenue, Lincoln LN2 4PE.

If you have had some Bridge experience, however small, please come along and we can help you to reach Club playing standard in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Due to strong demand for beginners and improvers session he has asked club members if they can lend on hand on Tuesdays and help develop the next generation of Club Players.
