General conditions covering heats for county competitions hosted by the club |
Visitors are welcome to play at heats of county competitions hosted by the club but all visitors must first obtain permission to play from the committee.
If the visitors wish to play without standing then they will be allowed to play, space permitting. If however the visitors wish to play with standing, in an attempt to qualify for a later round of the competition, then they will only be granted permission by the committee if the total number of visitors expected to be playing with standing does not exceed the maximum number set by the committee.
With effect from 6th November 2019, this maximum number has been set at four for pairs events and eight for teams events. All visitors playing with standing are included in this calculation of permitted numbers, regardless of whether they are partnering a member or another visitor.
