| Welcome! |
Welcome to Learn Bridge in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
The purpose of this website is to provide information to anyone who wants to learn or improve their Bridge in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
A list of courses, venues and contacts can be found on the 'Bridge Lessons' tab and where I have been given specific details, I have also included these on the 'Local Areas' tab. If any clubs, teachers or Education institutions have details of Bridge classes they would like advertised on this website, please let me know.
The 'Learning Area' section features articles on a variety of topics which I hope will be of interest.
On the Badger Farm Bridge Club website I feature a 'Hand of the Week' from the Tuesday duplicate and I have replicated a number of these hands in the 'Interesting Bridge Hands' section. Otherwise click on the 'Welcome' header above which links to the Badger Farm website where there are many more articles which I hope you will find interesting and useful.
If anyone lives in the vicinity of Broughton (near Stockbridge) I run weekly improvers workshops for small groups at my house @ £5 per session. These sessions are informal and the emphasis is very much on friendly social Bridge. If you want to come along, please ring or email me.
If you have any comments, feedback or further information of any Bridge Learning opportunities in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, please also get in touch.

| Why learn Bridge? |
Bridge is the 'creme de la creme' of all card games. It does not take too long to learn but for most people, the more you play, the more you want to play and the better you get, the more interesting it becomes.
Bridge is a great social pastime, providing endless hours of entertainment, it's very good for your mental agility and excellent value for money.
Bridge can be enjoyed at home or at the many Bridge Clubs all around Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Either way, for those who take up Bridge, it is guaranteed to provide many hours of fascination and fun.
