MONDAY CLUB - WE WILL CONTINUE THROUGH APRIL TO TRY AND INCREASE THE NUMBERS ATTENDING
FRIENDLY, CASUAL DUPLICATE BRIDGE IS BACK AT THE LARKHILL CENTRE!
HELD ON MONDAY, SHORT 2 HOUR SESSIONS, ARRIVE BY 12.45 PM FOR PROMPT 1PM START.
VOLUNTEERS WILL BE NEEDED TO KEEP RUNNING THESE SESSIONS.
£2.50 each (No refreshments will be served during these short sessions to avoid exceeding parking time limits).

Welcome to Larkhill Bridge Club
We are very happy to accept new members especially those who are looking for a friendly club where they can can play online and occasionally face to face and we warmly accept people who are unfamiliar with the online game as we are happy to offer tailored help and practice with these sessions and have a director who offers advice on the technical side and has produced some excellent videos. Location is not a problem when playing online as we have members playing even when on holiday abroad.
Started in May 2010 our intention was to encourage novice players and lapsed players to join more seasoned players in taking part in friendly, duplicate bridge.
We recommend you join us via RealBridge on Thursdays and Fridays. We ask that you log in at 1.45pm for a prompt start. We are an affiliated club and so you can enjoy all the benefits of being a member of the EBU including issues of their magazinr always available online through ‘My EBU’ on their website or have a copy posted to you if this is your preferred option. We are renowned for our superb Christmas Party Buffets held at an attractive venue and heavily subsidized by the the club as a ‘thank you’ to our regular playing members.
Associates can register to play in our Friday Club for a small online playing fee. Full members can play in any of our sessions.
Visitors who register are welcome to play on Fridays which we run on RealBridge and pay through our kitty system.
Our table money for Members and Associates remains very competitive at only £2.50 per player.
In addition to the bridge we also run a dining club so local members can socialise on an occasional basis. Details can be found in the yellow drop down menu on the left hand side of our webpage.

Undos are now allowed for misclicks in bidding and play in all our tournaments
A misclick is defined as a player inadvertently clicking on the wrong card or bid or their device appearing to make the bid or play for them without them requesting it
It does NOT apply if a player makes a play and then changes their mind or if they fail to concentrate properly and click the wrong card

AT THE AGM MEETING A DECISION WAS TAKEN FOR THE CLUB TO TAKE UP THE EBU'S OFFER OF A FREE TRIAL TO AFFILIATE TO ASSESS IF THIS IS BENEFICIAL TO THE CLUB AND ITS MEMBERS.
A FURTHER RESOLUTION WAS TAKEN TO ALLOW ALL ASSOCIATES TO PLAY ON THURSDAYS WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT AND JOIN AS FULL MEMBERS FROM 1ST JANUARY WHEN RENEWALS WILL BE DUE.
