Lancashire has a bridge club in most major towns, with many having a host system to ensure visitors can get a game. Contact details, club times, beginners, intermediate classes are on the Clubs page though you should check before attending a new club. This website has details of forthcoming competitions and results. Membership of an affiliated Lancashire club  entitles you to play in Lancashire competitions, be eligible for Lancashire County Teams, and attend all Lancashire Council Meetings.   LCBA 29th Annual General Meeting

The LCBA AGM took place at Bolton Bridge Club on 16th May 2016. Bill Alston will take over as Chairman, Brian Irlam as Vice Chairman and John Brearley as Secretary. Barry Brelsford retired as Secretary (after 29 years!) and Jacqueline retired as Tournament Secretary (after 8 years) and received a presentation of flowers from the Chairman.To fill the vacancies, Barry Brelsford will continue with his Treasurer role and Barry and Jacqueline will share the Tournament. Secretary role for at least the next year while a new Officer is found for that role. The LCBA Team of 4 competitions will be managed separately by Jeff Smith who is hoping to run them using the new EBU Cup/Plate facility.
